“Where the Wind Rests” is a limited-edition art book of 200 copies, each including an original hand-written character “Wind” by Mohri Suzuki, together with a serialized edition number.
≪Binding & Printing≫
The cover is wrapped in softly textured cotton cloth.
The foil stamping on fabric was achieved through repeated experimentation, bringing together the refined craftsmanship of skilled artisans.
The pages are bound using fukuro-toji — a traditional Japanese pouch-binding technique once used in Edo-period books.
Warm natural paper was carefully selected to evoke the feeling of an old treasured volume.
Because the paper readily absorbs ink, achieving depth and clarity in printing required delicate adjustments by master printers.
The result carries both quietness and vividness at once.
≪Design≫
Generous space is left throughout the book, allowing the placement of words themselves to create beauty.
Within the silence of the margins, one may also sense the flow of Mohri Suzuki’s time.
Presented in both Japanese and English, the book is created for readers in Japan and abroad alike.

≪装丁・印刷について≫
表紙には起毛のある綿布素材。
布への箔押しは、試行錯誤を重ねながら仕上げられた、
職人の技術が凝縮された、渾身の装丁です。
本文は江戸時代の和綴本にも用いられた「袋綴じ」。
生成りの手触りある紙を選定し、古書のような風合いを目指しました。
インクを吸いやすい紙の特性により色が沈みやすい中、
印刷職人の繊細な調整によって、落ち着きと鮮やかさを併せ持つ仕上がりとなっています。
≪デザイン≫
余白を大きく取り、文字の配置そのものが美しさをつくる構成です。
静かな余白からも、鈴木猛利の時間の流れを感じていただけます。
英語併記のため、海外の方にも楽しんでいただける一冊です。
